Some important information about volunteering as a gust verses as a cleared volunteer.
Visitors – visitors offer support in classrooms and/or programs on a limited basis or attend multiple events throughout the year. This includes support during the opening of school, occasional classroom or campus functions, class parties or celebrations, special events, occasional general needs, campus fundraisers. Visitors participate in events that are not consistently or repeatedly scheduled on an on-going basis this includes dances. Visitors will always be under staff supervision and never alone with students.
Volunteers – Volunteers are able to work directly with students in classrooms and on campus to support learning and activities, on a routine basis or providing weekly support, and always under staff supervision and never left alone with students. Volunteers working with students without staff supervision or on an overnight field trip will require level 2 clearance
